Hey you... don't just stand there, come on in and take a seat. Who knows, I might have just what you're looking for.
When I started out I liked to think of myself as a horror writer. But these days I like to think of myself as just a writer. I still love horror and when it comes to writing novels I'll always stay true to my origins, but in the world of screenplays I can spread my wings and free fall through multiple genres. Take a look below and you'll see what I mean - and maybe you'll find something you like. To those looking to acquire my services, please note that I am always open to discussion over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

The above is a small list of examples of my work covering horror, action, and comedy - which sometimes overlap.
"Garry Charles must hale from another planet, as his imagination and skill as a writer is out of this world. His ability to grab your attention in the first few words and hold you all the way to the end is breathtaking. Not only does he work at the speed of a cheetah but is also a pleasure to work with....genius...he will leave you blown away and coming back for more!" - Tim Watchorn, Watchorn Productions (The City Of Hell)
"Fast, efficient and reliable. This is how more people should work. The script was excellent and, when it comes to horror, I would hire him any time! Thanks to Garry we could produce a short which was shot for the lowest budget possible and still kicked ass!" - Martin Rath, Bunker-FX (Dead End)
"Garry Charles has an amazing imagination and tells great stories. He's really a 'non-stop' writer, but the fact that he's fast doesn't compromise the work. It's great. I like my experiences with him because we actually work on ideas and build characters and stories TOGETHER. He takes direction and adds suggestions without hesitation. The only thing he's precious about is that the stuff is great. I appreciate that about him... and that he's got a great handle on different types of narrative. He's not a one-trick pony... and he's got a great sense of humour." - Johnny Kalangis, Director (The Mad)
"I've known Garry professionally and personally for about 2 years now and one thing I can tell you about him is that to understand Garry is to fully realize that it can't be done. I think Garry has the amazing ability to let his mind and his writing go deep into the universe of ideas and characters in his head and then the cunning to present it to you on paper. He will always take you to a place you didn't expect and his delivery will be visual and unique." - Adrian Chappell, Withered Films (Love is a Bullet)
"I have had the privilege to work with Garry Charles as a writer several times now, currently with a feature film in-production. It is a delight to work with such a skilled writer full of ideas, but still able to take and use constructive criticism as a real pro. And, of course, it doesn't hurt one bit that he is a really nice guy and easy to get along with as well." - Kim Sønderholm, Apotheosis Film (Mother Knows Best)
"Garry Charles is a extremely talented screenwriter he was able to take an idea and bring it to life, his style of writing and character development is unique, i look forward to working with Garry on many projects in the future." - Yousef Elawage (The Hunted)
"Love Garry's ability to write for characters. He has a wonderful knack for putting humor into the most dramatic scenes." - Alex Skuby (King of Queens, Castle and The Mentalist)
